Havre, MT – Chinook Sugarbeeter girls basketball finished the season strong despite ending their season at the district tournament.
Head coach of the Sugarbeeters Jill Barta says she was proud of the effort her team put in to grow throughout the season and knows it needs to continue moving forward.
“They came to practice with good attitude every day and every week ready work and we’ve got to transpire that into the summer and have the summer effort all summer long. The girls know the expectations now and I think coming into next season you’re going to see us in a different way.” Said Barta
The Sugarbeeters will lose only on starter and two seniors from this season’s roster.
