White Bear Fishing Access Site Closed Until Fall

GREAT FALLS, Mont. (NMB) – White Bear Fishing Access Site on the Missouri River south of Great Falls has closed for the summer.

A press release says that the Fishing Access Site, six miles south of Great Falls off Fox Farm Road, is closed through September 3rd by the Fish and Wildlife Commission to address problems with non-sporting activities.

White Bear FAS has many secluded areas that have been used in summer for underage use of alcohol, drug use, violent behavior, public disturbance, vandalism, and litter.

When the seasonal closure ends September 3rd, waterfowl and big game hunters will have access to the river in the fall and early-winter months.
