Havre, MT – Tuesday Afternoon Havre High softball will play their home opener of the 2026 season against the Golden Eagles from Lewistown.
The Blue Ponies have started off the season 1-1 through two games of play. Havre’s next challenge will be their fist at home. Head coach of the Ponies Tony Vigliotti says the keys to the game lie within themselves.
“For us the keys are just controlling what we can control. Playing play to play, pitch to pitch. Making the defensive plays that we should make and putting the ball in play and getting some good swings. I think for us it’s still working on the things we do but still control the things we can control.”
The Golden Eagles have not played game yet this season. Varsity first pitch against Lewistown is set for 5p.m. at Memorial field.
