(Havre) – The Hill County Commission met for their regular business meeting on Thursday. In response to a community members question about the individuals being appointed to the Council on Aging advisory board, Commissioner Sheri Williams stated that they had five applicants for the five positions available, but after being informed that the board is advisory only, two of the applicants withdrew their names. In other business that all passed unanimously, the commissioners signed a letter of request assistance to Bear Paw Development for the purpose of pursuing a Community Development Block Grant, Public Community facillities grant for Havre Public Schools for improvements to Lincoln McKinley Primary School.
The commission also approved their 2024 audit performed by FJ and Associates and they approved an agricultural Covenant for Ole Larson.
