Havre, MT – Montana State University-Northern’s Rodeo was a smashing success this past weekend with a sold-out crowd and a live band to finish off Saturday night.
Every year the Lights and Skylights get their chance to host a Big Sky Region rodeo, and this year Northern fans and the Havre community came out in full force. Head coach of the Lights and Skylights Doug Kellenberger said that the crowd brought the energy and created a terrific environment.
“You know this was year really fun. We wanted to say thank you to the community. the community was a huge support. We were sold out Friday night; we were sold out Saturday night. They were a huge advantage for us, they cheered for our kids a little bit louder than everyone else. The sheep riding was a huge hit, the Miniature Indian Relay Races, everybody that come together that brought the community together was awesome.”
MSU-Northern Rodeo heads to Miles City this weekend.
