Havre, MT – Havre High softball returned home on Saturday after dropping a pair of games at the Fergus tournament in Lewistown.
In the first game of the day Havre fell to the Laurel Locomotives 14-9. The Blue Ponies came up short offensively in their second game of the day against Shepherd 9-1.
Head coach of the Blue Ponies Tony Vigliotti saw positives on the field in both games.
“In that Laural game we hit the ball well scored nine runs. I thought our pitchers for the most part in both games threw pretty decent, so I was happy with that. I was actually pleased with the weekend this young group is just going to keep getting better and better.”
The Blue Ponies have two more games this weekend going back-to-back at Miles city and Dawson County on Friday and Saturday.
