Havre, MT – Identity, a big impact on Montana State University-Northern Rodeo’s strong start through two weeks of the spring season.
The MSU-Northern Skylights have jumped into second place as team in the Big Sky Region standings while the men hold third place with top individual performers. Lights and Skylights head coach Doug Kellenberger praised the individual character and team identity his athletes have created.
“The kids that choose Northern are the kids that are hardworking, down to the earth type kids and that’s what we have on this team. I’ll get to practice and their working the arena their wrapping cattle. They’re not waiting for anybody to it for them, they’re going to work for it themselves and that’s the salt to the earth type kids we got, and I couldn’t be more proud of them.” Kellenberger said.
