Havre, MT – Montana State University-Northern Lights rodeo announced the signing of saddle bronc rider Wesley Cox out of Big Sandy, Montana.
Head coach of the Lights, Doug Kellenberger spoke to the character Wesley will bring to the program. “Wes Cox will be a good addition. He is a good local kid. he is a hard worker; he wants to get better. He is a rough stock kid, which we need more rough stock kids. So he will be riding saddle bronc for us and we’re going to try and talk him into ding a little team roping as well. Wes will be a great addition, a hard worker a salt to the earth type kid and those are the kids that we want to add to our program.”
Cox was a varsity athlete in rodeo as well as football and wrestling during all four years of his high school career as a Volunteer. Wesley will be pursuing a degree in Agricultural Technology.
