Havre, MT – Havre Northstars baseball season is now underway and head coach Ben Mader says the team has multiple goals set for throughout the year.
“As a team they are doing commitment cards. Every Monday they all write down what they are willing to do for the team outside of practice, then their all parried up and their together working on individual goals together.” Coach Mader said. “But I’d say the big picture goal is to win a district championship and get on to state and represent us well there.” Mader finished.
The Northstars will open up conference play with a double header on Sunday May 17, at 1p.m. against the Medicine Hat Knights.
