Havre, MT – Over the weekend Havre High softball traveled to Frenchtown for four games. Friday saw the Blue Ponies claim a win over Corvallis (16-10) and take a loss to Polson(3-7). Havre opened up Saturday morning with a 5-5 tie against Lockwood before ending the weekend with a victory over Butte Central (13-7).
To open the weekend Havre’s Riely Doney and Bree Hanson combined for four hits 10 RBIs and a home run. In the two wins the Pony offense was led by Tahlyn Olsen with a combined four hits, four RBIs and a home run.
From the mound it was Olivia Keller in the two wins throwing a combined five strike outs. Next up Havre is home for a pair of games with Dawson County on Friday May 8, and Sidney Saturday May 9.
