Havre, MT – Montana State University-Northern athletics and volleyball head coach Jerry Wagner have officially announced the 2026 recruiting class. This year’s commits are made up of two accomplished transfers and four talented freshmen.
“Well I’m happy that I was able to get that balance. We’re graduating five seniors. we’re losing a lot of good experience and experience is verry valuable. So it was nice to be able to inject a couple of players with very good experience, along with an exciting younger group. “Coach Wagner commented on what he liked most about the class.
The two transfers are Kendall Scheffelmear from Dawson Community College who was a two-time Mon-Dak Academic All-Conference; and Kambria Maloy out of Easter Arizona College where she was named NJCAA Player of the Week, ACCAC First Team All-Conference, ACCAC All-Region, and ACCAC Libero of the Year.
The four freshmen are Cadee Bilden (Lavina, MT), Caleigh Case (Billings, MT), Mikayla Ramsey (Billings, MT), Holly Newman (Townsend, MT).
Skylights volleyball will host their Alumni match on August 14, and will open the season in Butte on August 20, against Williams Baptist College.
