Havre, MT – In Early April Montana State University-Northern football announced their quarterback recruiting class. Head Coach Jerome Souers and first year college offensive coordinator Coach K Headline their 2026 quarterback class with Havre’s Very own Griffen Terry.
Terry started at quarterback for the Blue Ponies from his sophomore year until graduation. He led a talented Blue Pony team in his junior year to the class A state semifinal. Terry stands at 6’0″ 185lbs and in his freshman season in college, will play along side his older brother Crawford Terry, who started at linebacker for the Lights defense in 2025.
Along side Terry is an out of state commit in Kirk Simoni, and juco transfer Malakhi Statler. Simoni is a 6’1″ QB out of Manteca, California where he was All-league selection at East Union High School. Statler joins the Lights by way of Bakersfield College. Malakhi is a duel threat style QB that stands at 6’1″ 200lbs.
The Lights are looking to improve on a one win season in 2025.
