(Chinook) – Sweet Memorial Park in Chinook is scheduled to begin renovations later this year. Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation President, Heather DePriest (Da-Priest) tells us about that timetable.
“We will be taking and putting the parking construction in the fall and then early in the spring and hopefully having it up and going again for everyone to enjoy throughout the summer of 2027.”
Renovation of the park is Phase 2 of this project. Phase 1, the rehabilitation of the Chinook City Pool, is scheduled to be finished and open to the public later this month.
