Havre Football Working Hard This Offseason

Havre, MT – Now in mid-July Havre High football is the middle of offseason training. The Blue Ponies finished with a 3-4 overall record in 2025 and are looking to bounce back in 2026.

Havre High head coach Jake Eldridge spoke with New Media Broadcasters on what the offseason has looked like so far.

“Boy it’s been a whirlwind. The month of June was a lot of on field and kind of in the classroom meetings and actual practice type stuff leading up to the team camp we went too.” Eldridge said

“And Really the month of July has just been four days a week in the weight room and out on the track doing our strength and conditioning stuff. We’ve got a lot of kids that are coming and getting a lot better. It’s been great, it’s been fast, but we’ve got ourselves a few weeks left here really before the season starts, so it’s just around the corner.”

The Blue Ponies lost a lot of production from last year’s senior class on both sides of the ball but are confident in what they are building this summer.
