Havre, MT – On Friday July 17, Montana State University-Northern athletics announced their 2026 Hall of Fame Class.
This year’s class features six athletes and or staff members who left a lasting impact on Northern Lights and Skylights athletics. Today we recognize Laramie Schwenke of Skylights basketball form 2008-2013 and 2015-2017.
Schwenke battled through injuries in her career with Skylights basketball and still scored 825 points in playing career. That effort helped Laramie earn a First team All-Frontier Conference selection as well as an NAIA All-American Honorable Mention. Following her senior season, Schwenke was awarded MSU-Northern Female athlete of the year.
The Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held on Friday, September 4, and they will each be recognized during halftime of MSU-Northern football’s first home game against Montana Western on Saturday, September 5.
