Donald Saisbury Inducted into MSU-Northern HOF

Havre, MT – On Friday July 17, Montana State University-Northern athletics announced their 2026 Hall of Fame Class.

This year’s class features six athletes and or staff members who left a lasting impact on Northern Lights and Skylights athletics. Today we recognize Donald Saisbury of Lights Football from 2004-2007.

As a wide Receiver, and a punter Saisbury stacked up records and collected multiple All-Conference selections. Saisbury still leads the program in career touchdowns with 33 and is tied for the most receptions in a game with 13.

Donald is regarded as the best punter in school history as he holds every punting record for Lights football including the longest career punt of 89 yards in 2007.

Saisbury’s ability to contribute all over the field help the Lights reach the programs first ever NAIA Football Championship Series.

The Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held on Friday, September 4, and all inductees will be recognized during halftime of MSU-Northern football’s first home game against Montana Western on Saturday, September 5.

Stay tuned to New Media Broadcasters stations and website as we to recognize all six inductees.
