Havre, MT – We are a month away from the start of the 2026 season Havre High volleyball season.
On top of taking her team to the Montana State University volleyball team camp, Head coach of the Blue Ponies Cassie Kruger has been running open gyms, yoga sessions and weightlifting sessions for her team this summer.
Coach Kruger spoke with New Media Broadcaster Sports on what she has seen from her team throughout the camps and workouts. “I think our foundation is very strong. Over the years, with this going to be my fourth season as head coach, I can see that they are really tuning in and learning.”
“Even the younger girls coming in, their foundation and knowledge of volleyball is very strong. I think our discipline needs some work and just doing the little things is what is going to make the difference for us this season.” Kruger said.
Havre volleyball will begin practices on the August 14 and will open the year at the Eastern A tip Off on Friday August 28, Saturday the 29.
