Blue Pony Football Team Dynamic

Havre, MT – Havre high football is rapidly approaching fall camp the 2026 season and have a lot of questions entering the year.

The Blue Ponies lost a lot of production on both sides of the ball at nearly every position and will have to build something new this season.

Havre head coach Jake Eldridge says that the team will find themselves once practices begin. “Every year you kind of start over with who you have and kind of figure out what the team make up is going to be. The kids’ attitude has been really really good. They’re motivated, they’re hungry, they’re excited, but we’re continuing to build.” Eldridge said.

“We’re a long way away from where we want to be and where we need to be especially with coming together as a team, but his offseason has been really good. We’ll kind of see what happens once we get the pads on and start practicing again because that’s when the bullets fly and you find what you have and who you are.”

Havre football will begin practice on August 14 and open the season against Whitefish on Friday August 28th at Blue Pony stadium.
