HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – A Havre brewery won three gold medals and the title of “Montana Brewery of the Year” earlier this week during this year’s Montana Brew Fest. Vizsla Brewing opened last October and were one of about 35 breweries who participated in the event.
According to their Facebook page, Vizsla Brewing submitted three beers into the Beer and Cider Judging competition and all three won gold medals in their categories. The beers that received medals were Bichon Saison, The Brown Lab, and Winter Red Ale.
The “Montana Brewery of the Year” trophy is awarded to the brewery or cidery with the highest cumulative score for all beers or ciders submitted. This is a traveling trophy and will reside at Vizsla Brewing until June 2020.
