Art Alley Celebration Postponed

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Havre’s Art Alley Spring Celebration, which was supposed to take place this Saturday, has been postponed.

Hi-Line Arts Council Chair Grant Olson says the decision was made due to the chance of cold, wet weather this weekend.

The celebration is intended to showcase art from local artists, and features food, drink, live music and projects for kids.

A new date for the celebration will be announced once it is finalized.

The inaugural Art Alley Celebration was held last spring. Since then, a sunflower mural has been created on the dumpster on Third Avenue. This summer, work will begin transforming the back doors of several businesses that line the alley into works of Art. A mural project is also in the works, along with signage.
