HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Assistance for Business Clinic is set for Tuesday, May 14th at the Hensler Auditorium on Montana State University-Northern’s campus. Executive Director for the Havre Area Chamber of Commerce Jody Olson says registration starts at 7:30 that morning and the clinic runs from 8 AM to 5 PM.
“The cost is $40 and there’s two ways to register. You can either call here, we have the forms right here at the Chamber, or actually, we’ve created an Event Brite.com, that you can go on and just register online.”
Olson says that the clinic offers different certifications for professionals and will provide updated information on workers’ compensation, OSHA regulations, tax incentives, and more.
“It’s geared towards maybe attorneys, bookkeepers, that kind of thing. They actually can get credit for it; a CPE, a CLE, an SHRM or an HRCI. I don’t know what all those mean, but that’s what’s on the paper and that’s what a lot of people come for.”
