ATF Director Visits Montana

(Kalispell) The director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives spent last week touring Montana’s firearms industry, making stops in

communities across the state, including Helena, Billings, Bozeman, Missoula, and Kalispell. ATF Director Robert Cekada met with Montana Attorney General

Austin Knudsen and visited firearms manufacturers to learn more about the state’s growing role in weapons innovation and defense technology. During a tour of

Helena-based Olympus Arms, Cekada praised Montana companies for developing advanced systems that support both military personnel and law enforcement.

Officials say the visit also highlighted the importance of partnerships between federal agencies, state authorities, and the firearms industry.
