(Havre) – The December Meeting of the Hill County Park Board was held on Monday December 1st. Chairman Jeff Jensen shared with the board that the Beaver Creek Lodge projects is still on schedule with demolition this spring of the old lodge, and the new lodge being constructed at Camp Kiwanis, will begin this summer.
Board member Lou Hagner announced that the Hill County Park Board public engagement event will be held on Tuesday January 13th, 2026 at the 4-H Chuckwagon on the Great Northern Fairgrounds. Hagner said that the Friends of Beaver Creek Park will be providing food for the event and hosting a silent auction with the proceeds benefiting the new lodge project. This event will be a combination open house and town hall.
The Hill County Park Board’s next meeting will take place on Monday January 5th, 2026, 5:30pm inside the Timmons Room at the Hill County Courthouse.
