BELGRADE, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Highway Patrol reports that a 51-year-old Belgrade man was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Tuesday afternoon in Gallatin County.
The crash occurred at 2:45 PM on Airport Road near Witt Lane, when the man was driving his Harley Davidson northwest. The driver lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a left curve in the roadway. The vehicle went off the westside of the roadway and the driver overcorrected, causing the motorcycle to roll onto its side.
The man was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
