Billings Man Killed in Crash in Sweet Grass County

BIG TIMBER, Mont. (NMB) – A 30-year-old Billings man was killed on Friday night just east of Big Timber after his motorcycle collided with a sedan.

The Montana Highway Patrol reports that the crash occurred at 8:09 PM, when the Billings man was driving his Yamaha Motorcycle at a high rate of speed on the I-90 West off ramp.

The motorcycle failed to stop at a stop sign and traveled through the intersection with Highway 10 east, making direct contact with an eastbound Honda Civic in a T-bone collision.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet.

The only occupant of the Civic was a 23-year-old male from Blair, Oklahoma. He was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.

Drug use is a suspected factor in the crash.

The road was dry.
