Havre, MT – Havre High softball is now 5-8-1 heading into their final two home games of the regular season.
The last time the Blue Ponies play in Havre was on April 11th against Miles City. Nearly a month later the Ponies will be on their home field and head Coach Tony Vigliotti knows him and his team are excited.
“Well, it’s always nice to be at home, we get good support at home. and they’re important games for us. they are conference games and we are trying to get to the state tournament. To be at home in a situation where you’ve got to get a couple of games it helps us.”
Coach Vigliotti continued to give the keys for the weekend. “Defensively we’ve got to make most of the plays that we make and I think we’ve got to stay hot with the bats, which I think we are right now, and hopefully that adds up to a couple of conference wins this weekend.”
First pitches are set for 3p.m. on Friday against Glendive and 1p.m. on Saturday against Sidney.
