(Browning) A Browning woman accused of beating and injuring child in a residence on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation admitted to child abuse and assault charges , U.S. Attorney Jesse Laslovich said.
The defendant, 25 year old Micah Lynn Brown pleaded guilty to felony child abuse and to assault resulting in substantial bodily injury of an individual under 16 years, as indicted.
Brown faces a maximum of 10 years in prison on the child abuse charge and a maximum of five years in prison on the assault charge.
Chief U.S. District Judge Brian M. Morris presided.
