Browning woman sentenced to four years in prison.

(Browning) A Browning woman who admitted to assaulting another woman during an argument, causing the victim serious injuries, was sentenced to four years in prison to be followed by three years of supervised release, US Attorney Jesse Laslovich says.

The defendant, 31-year-old Thomasine Tachelle Wahl Salway pleaded guilty in January to assault resulting in serious bodily injury.

Court documents say Salway struck the victim for refusing to give her a ride to somewhere on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation.

Chief US District Judge Brian M Morris Presided.
