CHIEF MOUNTAIN, Mont. (NMB) – U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office of Field Operations is announcing the re-opening of the Port of Chief Mountain for the season at 9 AM on Wednesday, May 15th.
A press release says that Chief Mountain is located on Highway 17 in Glacier County and is a convenient route connecting travelers to Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park in Alberta, Canada from Glacier National Park in Montana.
From May 15th through the 31st, the port will be open from 9 AM to 6 PM. From June 1st through September 1st, it will be open from 7 AM to 10 PM. And from September 2nd through the 30th, they will go back to the 9 AM to 6 PM hours.
