CBP Set New Hours for Morgan, Scobey, Opheim Ports

RAYMOND, Mont. (NMB) – U.S. Customs and Border Protection has made its decision to adjust the hours at the Ports of Morgan, Scobey and Opheim starting June 1st. A press release says that the new hours will be 9 AM to 7 PM year round. The port of Raymond will remain a 24 hour port during the summer of 2019 while CBP continues discussions with the Canadian government and local stakeholders.

CBP has taken into account the feedback received from local community members, stakeholders, and elected officials. Beginning in early February, CBP conducted multiple outreach and listening session in addition to briefing Congressional staff. CBP will remain flexible to work with communities on special events and continues to utilize its first responder protocols to allow for emergency vehicle crossing.

CBP continues to consider feedback received and will continue to monitor and analyze traffic and workload at these locations.
