(Havre) With the Great Northern Fair now a week passed, the sales numbers for this year’s fair have been gathered for rough estimates.
New Media Broadcasters spoke with Shelli Sayers, Executive Director of the Havre Chamber of Commerce, for more information on the turnout for this year’s fair.
“According to the estimates provided by the Great Northern Fair, there were nineteen food and beverage vendors, three of which were new and from out of the area. The exhibit buildings were completely full this year and outside vendor participation increased. There were also several vendors from outside of the area that also utilized the campgrounds”
Sayers says that the fair always has a large economic impact on the city due to its ability to attract people from out of town, as well as the fair being a natural venue for local businesses to set up booths.
