Havre, MT – With two games remaining in the 2025-26 regular season, Chinook Sugarbeeter girls’ basketball will host senior night on Friday when they take on the Conrad Cowgirls.
Coach Jill Barta only has two seniors on her roster in Neva Lowe and Kirby Hofeldt. Coach Barta express that both seniors helped her out in her first year as head coach and have been instrumental to the team this season.
“My Favorite is they are both super coachable towards me. They are both super fun to be around and you know they’ve made it a great year. We had one of them that went down and that’s always tough to see but you know as a team I always say let’s finish it for the seniors, let’s play the last games for the seniors and I think the Girls really buy into that.” Coach Barta said.
The Sugarbeeters will tip off at 6p.m. on Friday before ending the season on the road at Choteau Saturday night. You can tune in live on KRYK for Sugarbeeter girls’ and boys’ basketball both days.
