(Havre) – On September 6th the Havre City Council held a meeting to approve several items that affected the town budget.
Four of these items were resolutions for levying and assessing taxes to defray the cost of maintaining streetlights, to defray the cost of maintaining streets on property in the city, to defray the cost of Bullhook maintenance, and to defray the cost of solid waste services for the city.
The council also approved a resolution to adopt the final budget for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1st, 2023 and ending June 30th, 2024. The council also approved a resolution fixing the tax levies for the same Fiscal Year.
