(Havre) The City of Havre has announced via Facebook that communities along the Hi-Line are being asked to use water smartly following the recent break at the St. Mary Siphon.
The city says that it’s asking residents to practice water conservation by irrigating their lawns in cooler temperatures, and the city is asking that residents only do it every other day, asking those with even numbered houses to only water on even numbered days and those with odd numbered houses to only water on odd numbered days.
The City of Havre also announced that its reducing irrigation for parks and playing fields in the city limits.
