HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – To maintain the quality of the town’s drinking water, the City of Havre needs to periodically flush their hydrants.
A press release says that they will be flushing during the first week of May through approximately June of this year between the hours of 9 AM to 3 PM Monday through Thursday. They will start flushing on 1st Street, then 2nd Street, and so on, working west to east.
If your water is discolored, you may want to avoid washing clothes. When flushing is finished, simply run your cold water until it is clear.
