
HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – With the recent clearance from the CDC for the use of the Pfizer pediatric COVID vaccine for children ages 5-11, local health departments are beginning to allow parents to schedule appointments to get the vaccine.
The Hill County Health Department has appointments available beginning on Wednesday, November 10th. Those with questions or who are looking to be on the schedule should call 406-400-2415.
Northern Montana Health Care is hosting a children’s clinic on Tuesday, November 9th and Thursday, November 11th from 4-7 PM at the Holiday Village Mall. Parent or guardian must be present.
The Fort Belknap Public Health Nurse has already begun offering the COVID-19 pediatric vaccinations by appointment only. For more information, call 406-353-3250.
The Chouteau County Health Department has ordered the pediatric vaccine, and those interested in being on the waiting list can call 406-622-3771.
The Phillips County Health Department hopes to have pediatric vaccine doses by early next week. Those interested can contact them at 406-654-2521.
The Blaine and Liberty County Health Departments do not have the pediatric vaccine at this time, and will make an announcement once it is available.
Those interested in getting on the Liberty County waiting list can call their office at 406-759-5517 and leave a message.
