Crow Agency Woman Pleads Guilty to Lying to Federal Investigators in Shooting Case

BILLINGS, Mont. — A Crow Agency woman has pleaded guilty to making false statements to federal law enforcement.

Prosecutors say 24-year-old Micah LaForge lied to investigators about where she found a gunshot victim in January 2023, delaying the investigation by over 15 hours.

The victim was later determined to have been shot at a home on Crow River Road.

LaForge faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Sentencing will be set at a later date.

She was released pending further proceedings.
