Donate Blood with Red Cross to Help People Fighting Cancer

GREAT FALLS, Mont. (NMB) – During Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, the American Red Cross urges eligible donors to give blood or platelets to provide hope and healing to patients fighting cancer. Donors of all blood types, especially platelet donors and those with type O blood, are needed to ensure a stable supply for cancer patients and others this fall.

Blood donation opportunities will be held in the Denton Town Hall in Fergus County on Wednesday, October 16th from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM. On the 17th, blood can be donated at the Conrad Mission Church in Pondera County from 11 AM to 5:30 PM.

On Tuesday, October 29th, donations will be held at the Jerry Martin Memorial Hall in Big Sandy in Chouteau County from 12:45 to 7 PM. On Thursday the 31st, blood can be donated at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Chester in Liberty County from noon to 6 PM.
