HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services says that from Thursday, July 21st through Wednesday, July 27th, 2,287 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the state.
Most counties in in Montana are now considered to have either medium or high rates of community transmission, according to the dashboard.
Yellowstone County reported the most new COVID-19 cases in the past week, with 332. Flathead and Gallatin both reported 246, Missoula reported 238, Lewis and Clark reported 194, and Cascade reported 172.
3,473 Montanans have suffered COVID-19 related deaths, an increase of 18 since the last update. 53 percent of the state’s eligible population is considered fully immunized against the virus.
