STEVENSVILLE, Mont. (NMB) – A Fraud Examination was conducted over a several-month-period concerning the financials of the Town of Stevensville in Montana. The examination revealed asset misappropriation and official misconduct by a public servant, former Mayor Brandon Dewey. This information was turned over to the Ravalli County Attorney’s Office for review and consideration, which has resulted in charges being filed through a probable cause affidavit.
It is not the policy of the Stevensville Police Department nor the Town of Stevensville to comment on details of any investigation conducted for the integrity of that investigation and future/further court proceedings.
