FORT BELKNAP, Mont. (NMB) – Schools on or bordering the Fort Belknap Reservation are currently dealing with numerous COVID-19 related issues.
Harlem Public Schools has canceled all Jr/Sr High activities through January 30th. In addition, the Jr/Sr High closed early on Monday and will remain closed Tuesday due to the need to deep clean the building after a COVID-19 case was confirmed. The Elementary School has not been impacted.
Meanwhile, Hays-Lodgepole Schools has been in virtual learning since late last week, and will remain in virtual learning until February 8th due to COVID-19 issues. Hays-Lodgepole basketball teams will not return to practice until February 1st, which means their games this week are canceled.
And the Dodson School District, which has been dealing with a large outbreak of the virus, will remain closed until February 8th, with athletics paused until February 1st.
