
BOZEMAN, Mont. (NMB) – As Governor-elect Greg Gianforte prepares to replace Governor Steve Bullock, he has continued to name Transition Advisory Teams to help him review candidates to serve various Departments.
Several of the recently named teams include local residents.
Phillips County Commissioner Richard Dunbar is one of eight members of the Department of Transportation Advisory Team. Dunbar is also the Vice-Chair of the Montana Association of Counties Transportation Committee.
Also on the Transportation Advisory Team is Tim Robertson and Pete Smith of Lewistown. Robertson is the chairman and CEO of Century Companies, Inc., while Smith is the President of HCR, Inc.
Rick Ripley was one of 10 people named to the Department of Revenue Transition Advisory Team. Ripley is a former State Senator and former Superintendent for Augusta and Choteau Schools.
Bob Quinn of Big Sandy is one of nine members of the Department of Agriculture and related boards Joint-Transition Team. Quinn is a farmer and the founder of Montana Flour & Grains, The Oil Barn, and Big Sandy Organics.
Also named to the Agriculture Advisory Team was Lesley Robinson, a rancher and former Phillips County Commissioner.
