Glasgow Man Killed in Garfield County Crash

GARFIELD COUNTY, Mont. (NMB) – A 75-year-old Glasgow man has died from injuries suffered in a three-vehicle crash on Friday afternoon in Garfield County.

The Montana Highway Patrol reports that the crash occurred at 2:36 PM at mile marker 59.5 of Montana Highway 59 north, when the man was driving a Lincoln MKZ northbound. The front of the Lincoln collided with the trailer of a semi-truck being driven by a 74-year-old Florida man. The Lincoln bounced off the trailer and hit a southbound Dodge Caravan being driven by an 80-year-old Jordan man.

The driver of the Lincoln, who was wearing a seatbelt, was life-flighted to a Billings Hospital but succumbed to their injuries.

No one else was injured.

Drugs, alcohol or excessive speed are all not suspected factors in the crash.

The road was dry.
