GlACIER NATIONAL PARK, Mont. (NMB) – Glacier National Park’s Going-to-the-Sun Road is now fully open for the summer season.
The announcement was made by Park Officials on Friday morning. The road may now be accessed by motorized vehicles all the way through from both the West Glacier and St. Mary entrances.
Reservation tickets are required for access to Going-to-the-Sun Road between 6 am and 5 pm daily through September 6th. With the road now fully open, the number of entry tickets available will be increased. Additional ticket releases will be made available online each morning at 8 AM on the Park’s website.
