Governor Announces Latest Round of Board Appointments

HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – Governor Greg Gianforte has announced the latest round of appointments to state boards and commissions, and the list includes several local residents.

Justin Wiese of Malta was reappointed to the Alfalfa Seed Committee. Wiese owns and operates a family farm in Malta and has years of experience in the alfalfa industry. His term runs through November of 2024.

Richard Stuker of Chinook was reappointed to the Grass Conservation Commission. Stuker is a lifelong rancher that owns and operates a cattle ranch. He has served his local grazing district board for over 25 years. His term runs through December of 2024.

Celina Cline of Havre was reappointed to the State Rehabilitation Council. Cline is a vocational rehabilitation counselor who has worked with individuals with disabilities for two decades. Her term runs through September of 2024.

Jeff Southworth of Lewistown was appointed to the Board of Regents. Southworth is a Trustee on the Lewistown Public Schools Board and serves as president and co-owner of Allied Steel. His term runs through January of 2029.

Jennifer Pfau of Lewistown was named to the Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists Board. Pfaw has spent more than 20 years with nonprofits, including those providing early intervention services for children. Her term runs through December of 2024.
