There’s a fun event happening this Saturday at the Elks Lodge. The board of directors of the Bullhook community Health Center is hosting a guppy derby and chili cookoff. The events will start at 6pm and aim to help bring awareness to the various services offered by the Bullhook community health center.
Micheal Rappold the Chairmen of the board of directors explains what people can expect when attending the guppy derby.
“What we have currently this Saturday is the Guppy Derby and we basically race little guppies down gutters. You can buy a guppy for $50, and you can have a team if you wish. Before the races we will have a chili cookoff where people from our Bullhook team will be putting forth their chilis for public consumption and to see who like which chili the best.” -Michael Rappold
He continues to explain the goals of the derby.
