The Havre High School Boys Basketball team travels on Friday to Dawson and Saturday to Sidney.
Head Coach Waylen Burgess is encouraged to see his boys come out and competed right from the bus.
“You know I really liked the way we came out and responded on the road. Being on the bus for five or six hours you usually come out flat, but it was the complete opposite of that. We came out and put up 21 points in the first quarter, that was very encouraging.” – Burgess
After the boys’ first road trip, Coach Burgess also said it was a great learning experience.
“For us to learn on the road and being young like we are while being able to use different lineups, we just looked at it as a good learning experience. We know we are going to be a completely different team from December 10th to February 27th when we are on divisional’s floor. We understand it was a good learning experience for us, we are going to take it for what it is and grow from it.” -Burgess
