HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Havre Chamber of Commerce gave New Media Broadcasters an update regarding the events they have planned for this summer and fall.
Executive Director Julea Robbins said with COVID-19 they had to postpone the farmer’s market, but they are still looking into how they might hold this event in the near future.
“We’re hoping that in phase three that we can open, or we will be working with the Hill County Health Department to see if there is any way we can move the farmer’s market and try to do it somewhere else.”
Robbins said the event will only be a go if they can meet all COVID-19 regulations properly for the safety of everyone involved.
“There are a lot of regulations regarding the farmer’s market right now coming down from the state. So, if we are able to get everything together to follow those regulations and work with our health department then we will be able to hold it. It’s just going to take some work to put together.”
Moving forward, Robbins said that Festival Days is still in the works for the third week in September as they are currently collaborating with the Hill County Health Department on how to safely carry out the event.
