(Havre) The Havre City Council met on July 1st for their monthly business meeting.
The city passed a drawdown for the Boys and Girls Club’s HVAC system being replaced, as the current system was several years out of date.
Director of Public Works Trevor Mork gave an update on the water situation in Havre, saying that the water conservation practices being handed down by the Montana Department of Environmental Quality would not affect the cities ongoing waterline flushing efforts, because these actions are for the health and safety of the public.
Beau Paulsen was officially appointed as the assistant fire chief of Havre Fire Department. Paulsen first began working with HFD in 2005, spending over 14 years here before moving elsewhere, and has now returned and take this position.
The next meeting is scheduled for August 5th.
