HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Havre’s City Council met for their regular meeting on Monday night with about a dozen people in attendance.
The Council approved a resolution that would allow the City of Havre to continue participating in a State of Montana Surplus Property Program. Groups participating get the first chance at purchasing old property and items from the State before it goes to auction.
They also approved a resolution amending Havre’s general fund to reflect a $2,600 Town Pump grant to the Havre Fire Department. The Fire Department has already purchased equipment that will help them test town hydrants.
The Council also ratified the MPEA Police Union Contract for fiscal years 2018-2019 and 2019-2020.
The final item on the agenda was the confirmation of Mayor Tim Solomon’s May 2019 Board Appointments.
